What it does
The Dimension Change command opens the Dimension Change dialog box, allowing you to modify properties of existing dimensions in your drawing. The command displays two separate dialog boxes to manage the extensive range of dimension property options available.
How to use it
Select the dimension you want to modify in your drawing
Access the Dimension Change command from the CAD module
Use the first dialog box to modify primary dimension properties
Use the second dialog box to adjust additional dimension settings
Apply your changes to update the selected dimension
🧾 Dimension Change Dialog Boxes
Due to the comprehensive range of dimension modification options available, the properties are organised into two separate dialog boxes:
Dialog Box | Purpose |
Primary Properties | Contains the main dimension formatting and display options |
Additional Settings | Houses supplementary dimension configuration options |
💡 Tips
The dimension properties are split across two dialog boxes to provide better organisation and easier navigation through the extensive customisation options available for dimension entities in Roof Wizard.
⚠️ Important Notes
You must have an existing dimension selected in your drawing before accessing the Dimension Change command. The command modifies existing dimensions rather than creating new ones.
