This command deletes selected dimensions in your roof model. You can delete individual dimensions or multiple dimensions at once.
Menu Path
Top menu: Tools > Dimension Roof > - Delete Dimension
Right menu: Tools > Dimension-Roof > Delete
🔧 How to delete dimensions
First, select the function from either menu; select the dimensions you want to delete:
Click on individual dimensions to select them one at a time
Or draw a selection box around multiple dimensions to select them all at once
Once your dimensions are selected, confirm the delete command to remove them
🧾 About dimension display and plotting
The size of the dimensions are dependent on the View > Plot Scale. That means, the smaller the plot scale, the smaller the dimension text will be on screen. The dimensions appear on screen as they would when you print or plot the job at the scale factor set.
To view the dimensions clearly on screen, make sure the plot scale setting is suitable, typical useful settings are:
1:200 for larger commercial jobs
1:100 for residential jobs
You can change the plot scale by selecting View > Plot-Scale and modifying the scale value.
📋 Plotting dimensions
The dimensions are printed/plotted with the roof drawings using the Reports command. You can also plot them using the Tools > Plot command.
