What it does
Nett Rates provide a quick pricing method for roofing jobs using rates per unit area rather than detailed cost buildup. This feature allows you to set material and labour rates that are multiplied by the nett quantities from your roof design to generate quotes efficiently.
π§Ύ Overview
The Nett Rates dialog displays when you select this command from the pulldown menu. The rates you configure here are used by the Reporting > Nett-Only command to create quotes using a pricing approach rather than a detailed cost-up process.

π How to use it
The dialog presents options to supply material and labour rates for different parts of the job. These rates are multiplied by the nett quantities for the job (the nett quantities relate to the quantities displayed by the Tools > Tally Quantities command).
You can choose to set a rate to something meaningful or leave it at zero - rates set to zero have no impact on the quote.
π‘ When to use this method
If you typically quote jobs using a rate per unit area, this is the quickest and easiest method. It's ideal for contractors who prefer pricing based on established rates rather than building up costs from individual materials and labour components.
