What it does
The Pay Rates setup area provides access to all labour rate configuration options for different roofing materials and installation types.
🧾 Available Pay Rate Options
Option | Description |
Tilers' pay rates – fixed | Setup fixed tile installation rates |
Tilers' pay rates – variable | Setup variable tile rates with increments for storey and pitch interval |
Tile waste factors | Setup tile waste factors for accurate material calculations |
Metal pay rates – fixed | Setup fixed metal installation rates |
Metal pay rates – variable | Setup variable metal rates with increments for storey and pitch interval |
Curved metal pay rates | Setup curved metal installation rates for specialty applications |
Nett pay rates | Setup nett pay rates (net cost per square metre) |
Quote Groups | Setup Quote Groups for organising different rate categories |
Wall cladding pay rates | Setup wall cladding installation rates |
🔧 Alternative Access Method
You can also access pay rate functions from the Reporting Icon menu for convenience. This allows you to quickly jump back and change a labour rate while still in the Reporting stage without leaving your current workflow.
💡 When to Use Different Rate Types
Fixed rates: Use when labour costs remain consistent regardless of roof complexity.
Variable rates: Use when labour costs change based on factors like roof pitch or building storey height.
