🧩 What’s causing this?
Our best guess is that somehow the default font has been changed to a “vector” font. The vector fonts are used when printing to the old pen plotters. You would only find these in a museum now.
✅ Fix: Switch the default font to a TrueType Font (TTF)
Go to CAD > Defaults > Text Defaults
Make sure that you have True Type Font selected.
You change it by hitting the button at the bottom of that dialog box.
💾 Save the setting permanently
Once set to TTF, select:
File > Layout > Save Values
