🧾 What it does

The Extras_V6.csv file contains pricing data for extra items required on roof or wall quotations. These items are added to material and labour costs during costing operations. You'll see them appear as line items under Costing Supply-Only and Costing Supply+Install.

Extra items provide total flexibility for including miscellaneous sundry items like gutters, sumps, foam strips, and other components that comprise a detailed quotation. Items can be added automatically, prompted for inclusion, or selected manually from a list.

πŸ’‘ Usage Tips

Extra items can be both material and labour costs in a single entry. Set the Type field accordingly: use 1 for material only, 2 for labour only, or 3 for combined material and labour costs.

Use the Utilisation field to control how items appear during estimation: 0 for manual selection from lists, 1 to always include automatically, or 2 to be prompted during the estimation process.

The Category field helps group related items in output reports and order forms, making it easier to organise quotations by supplier or item type.

⚠️ Important Notes

Some fields have character limits indicated in brackets (e.g., [80]). Ensure your data doesn't exceed these limits to avoid import errors.

The Code field is crucial as it links all items together - ensure codes are unique and consistent across your data.
