Mod-Roof > Change Gable O'hang
What it does
This command changes the verge or overhang of an existing gable end. This allows you to extend or reduce the gable end along the ridge line - extending the ridge line increases the overhang width, while shortening it reduces the overhang width.
How to use it:
Select Mod-Roof > Change Gable O'hang from the pulldown menu
When prompted, click to locate the ridge at the gable end you want to modify
Enter the amount to add or subtract to the overhang (positive values increase the overhang, negative values decrease it)
Press Enter to apply the change
🧾 How it works
The ridge line is lengthened or shortened based on the value you enter, which directly affects the overhang width at the gable end.
💡 Tip: Use positive values to extend the overhang and negative values to reduce it. The measurement units follow your current drawing units.
