What are Wall Cladding Pay Rates?

Configure installation pay rates for all wall cladding components and trim based on cost per metre or foot.

🧾 What it does

This function sets the installation pay rates for all components of walls and wall trim. They are all based on a cost per metre or cost per foot (depending on your units of measurement).

You can set rates for up to 10 storeys within one pay rate schedule, and create multiple different pay rate files for different wall systems or profiles.

Field/Button

Description

Name

The name by which you select this pay rate in future

Storey

The storey to which these values relate. You can set rates for up to 10 storeys within one pay rate schedule

Select

Allows you to select an existing pay rate schedule

Delete

Allows you to delete an existing pay rate schedule

Add

Allows you to add a new pay rate schedule

Update

Allows you to update and save changes to an existing pay rate schedule

Auto-Fill Interval

Automatically fills the table with the rates for each measurement interval - not required for walls

Auto-Fill Storey

Automatically fills the table with the rates for each storey

πŸ”§ User-Defined Items

Add-User allows you to add any sort of labour charge that applies to walls. Each new item is given a unique index number.

Delete User allows you to delete a user-defined charge. You will be prompted for the index number of the item to delete.

πŸ›  How to save your rates

  1. Fill in the appropriate rates for each job function in the pricing table

  2. Complete rates for each storey you need

  3. Use the Add button if it is a new file, or select Update if you're changing details in an existing file

  4. Click OK to save the rates for future use

πŸ’‘ File Storage

Standard pricing files are stored within the software structure. However, user-defined pricing files are stored in a file called SidingLabour5.csv.

You may set up as many different files as you have different pricing for different profiles or wall systems.
