How do I merge two models into one?

Learn how to combine two Roof Wizard models into a single model using the merge command.

What it does

Use this command to merge two models into one model. This feature allows you to combine separate roof designs or add components from one model into your current working model. The original models remain unchanged during the merge process.


How to use it

  1. Open the model you want to merge content into (this will be your base model)

  2. Go to File > Merge Model

  3. When prompted, select the model you want to merge from the database browser

  4. Click to select a location point in your current model where you want to place the merged content

  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the merge
