🧭 What’s happening
AppliCad developers work very hard to make the Roof Wizard user interface (the menu system) as easy to use as possible.
At the same time we have a continuous stream of requests for enhancements to functions from our users for specific individual requirements.
This usually requires additional functions and icons being added to the menu system with the added complexity that results.
To help reduce the 'clutter' in the menus, we have created two menu systems:
Simple Menu: obscure and hardly ever used functions removed – the functions are not removed, the menu option is removed from the menu system.
Full Menu: all the available options enabled.
This problem suggests that the software has been set to run using the 'Simple Menu' option.
✅ The fix
To go back to the Full Menu option go to:
File > Layout > Full
To cure this go to File > Layout > Full
ℹ️ Note
Obviously, if you wish to stay with the reduced menu, set to Simple Menu and you will have fewer options, without losing any functionality for typical modelling and estimating work.
