How do I use coursing dimensions?

Insert coursing dimensions on your roof model to show tile course measurements from eave to interior after tile installation.

Menu Path

Tools > Dimension Roof > Tile Coursing Dimensions

What it does

The coursing dimension tool inserts dimension labels onto your roof model after tiles have been installed using the coursing method. These dimensions show the measured spacing of tile courses, displaying both eave and interior measurements on your roof plan.

🧾 How coursing dimensions work

When you apply coursing dimensions, Roof Wizard automatically calculates and displays the tile course spacing measurements. The dimension text uses a placeholder system where ###E represents the eave measurement and ###I represents the interior measurement, both in millimetres.

For example, entering Coursing (Eave ###E mm / Int ###I mm) would display as Coursing (Eave 310mm / Int 349mm) on your drawing once the actual measurements are calculated.
