π§Ύ What it does
This command allows you to set up fasteners for use with all roofing materials. You can also define other fixing materials here, such as rolls of adhesive, jointing tape, or buckets of adhesive mixture.
The key item in any fastener definition is the Product Code β this links the fastener with accessories, pricing, labour rates, and other components throughout Roof Wizard.

π§Ύ Quote Groups integration
Roof Wizard includes Quote Groups functionality to allow better estimate organisation and integration with external accounting systems. This feature allows you to modify the default "category" for each fastener item to split estimates into various groupings.
You can also link PDF files to fastener definitions (typically used to describe the part) so that documentation sets can be created for estimates. This eliminates the need to search for documentation relating to each part when requested by customers.
π‘ Data file editing
Material data files such as fastener definitions are best edited from within AppliCad software via the appropriate dialog box. However, as they are stored in comma separated values text file format (CSV), they may also be edited in a spreadsheet program if required.
