The Sheeting.csv file contains all metal roofing sheet data for your suppliers, including both straight profiles and curved profiles. You'll need to edit this file when adding new sheet products, updating pricing, or modifying specifications for your materials database.

π§ Field Definitions
Each line contains 16 fields separated by commas. Some fields have character limits (shown in brackets).
Field | Description |
Field 1 | Name of the supplier [25 characters max] |
Field 2 | Profile of the material. Can be any name - if it starts with "Curve" it will be listed as a curved quality sheet [25 characters max] |
Field 3 | Your internal code for this product for reporting purposes |
Field 4 | Sheet finish. Must be one of: Colour, color, Zincalume, or Galvanised. If you use colour/coloured/color/col/painted, you'll assign the actual colour during estimation [25 characters max] |
Field 5 | Fastener code. Must match a fastener code in the fasten.dat file (see How do I set up fasteners? for details) |
Field 6 | Default number of fasteners per square metre |
Field 7 | Effective coverage of the sheet in millimetres |
Field 8 | Base metal thickness (for reference only - no direct impact on calculations) |
Field 9 | Pricing method: 1 = price per square metre, 2 = price per linear metre |
Field 10 | Cost per unit (based on pricing method in Field 9) |
Field 11 | Currently not used - leave as 0 |
Field 12 | Minimum length to order for this sheet |
Field 13 | Maximum length for this sheet (set to 0 for no maximum length) |
Field 14 | Allowance file settings for the selected panel. Created when you define allowances under Estimate > Allowances and save settings for a specific panel type |
Field 15 | Roof substrate configuration options for Commercial Mode only (e.g., Open Frame,Wood Deck,Steel Deck). Enter all options in the cell with no spaces between options |
Field 16 | Roof system configuration options for Commercial Mode only (e.g., High,Low). Enter all options in the cell with no spaces between options |

π‘ Tips for File Management
Always end your file with "END" on the last line
Use semicolon (;) at the start of comment lines
For curved profiles, start the profile name with "Curve"
Ensure fastener codes match entries in your fasten.dat file
Back up your file before making changes

Character limits are strictly enforced for fields marked with brackets
Pricing method (Field 9) must be exactly 1 or 2
For Field 4 finish types, use Australian spelling: "Galvanised" not "Galvanized"
Fields 15 and 16 are only used in Commercial Mode
Setting maximum length to 0 means unlimited length available
