Available drawing types

You can choose from:

  • Up to 8 different standard CAD drawings

  • Custom drawings saved as Microsoft Word templates

  • Custom drawings saved as Excel templates

The standard drawings, their template names and what each is for:

  • Roof drawing (template Drawing-Roof): shows the roof.

  • Batten drawing (template Drawing-Batten): shows the battens on the roof.

  • Block layout (template Drawing-block): shows the blocks on the roof as created by Auto-Block.

  • Off-cut layout (template Drawing-off-cut): shows the cuts and off-cuts created by Gen-Off-cuts.

  • Off-cut layout (Colour) (template Drawing-Off-cut-Colour): shows a colour coded printout of the Off-cut Layout.

  • Panel layout (template Drawing-sheet): shows the sheets on the roof as created by Gen-Sheets.

  • Panel sequence (template Drawing-Sheet-Sequence): shows the sequencing of panel cutting derived from Linear Nesting.

  • Panel cutting details (template Drawing-Sheet-Cutting): shows the detailed dimensioned panels.

  • Flashing drawing (template Drawing-flashing): shows the roof and dimensions for each roof line as detailed by Dimension-Roof Lengths.

  • Flashing profiles (template Drawing-Flashing-profiles): details the workshop drawings for the fabrication of custom flashings. The standard template has four profiles displayed with the fabrication details for each new profile, and the cutting list of required lengths for the job. A new page is automatically created for each new group of up to four profiles.

Flashing Profile Drawing

  • Single-Ply Layout (template A4-Form): shows the membrane layout generated by Cover > Select-Membrane > Layout-SinglePly.

  • Wall Plan (template Drawing-Wall-Plan): shows a plan view of your wall outline.

  • Wall Elevations (template Drawing-Wall-Elevation): shows you the elevations of each wall outline.

  • Arc Roof Production Drawings (found under Cranking.DAB): details the workshop drawings for the fabrication of curved roofing.

  • 3D Design Drawing (template Drawing-3D): shows the roof in a 3D view.

  • Scaled Ruler (no template): creates a scaled ruler with any odd-ball scale, which allows random measurements to be taken from a copy of a plan.

Custom templates

You can create your own drawing templates in Microsoft Word or Excel and print any number of drawings saved as these templates, in addition to the standard CAD drawings listed above.

Note

The drawings are automatically prepared for printing once you confirm your selection, so make sure your printer is ready before clicking OK.
