Curving charges let you define pricing for curved metal panels based on the length of material being curved. This feature is only available through the pulldown menu system.

π§Ύ What it does
The curving charges feature allows you to set up different pricing tiers for curving metal panels based on length ranges. Charges are applied as a function of the panel length, so you can have different rates for different length brackets.
π§ How to set up curving charges
Access the curving charges command from the pulldown menu
Click the β¦ button to the right of the Curving Material field
Select your metal panel profile from the list (only profiles defined as curve quality will appear)
Enter a code for the particular curving work
Enter the From Length value
Enter the To Length value
Enter the charge amount for curving that length range
Click OK to save
β οΈ Important requirements
Profile naming: To define a profile as curve quality (able to be curved, typically high tensile material), the profile name must begin with 'Curve'.
Length-based pricing: Curving charges are applied based on the length of the panel, so you set up pricing brackets with 'from' and 'to' length values.
π File storage and editing
When you click OK, the details are saved to the data file called curving.csv in the ../User folder.
Material data files such as this are best edited from within AppliCad software via the appropriate dialog box. However, as they are in comma separated text file format (CSV), they may also be edited in a spreadsheet program if needed.
π‘ Tips
Only metal panel profiles that have been specifically defined as curve quality will appear in the selection list. Make sure your profile names start with 'Curve' to enable this functionality.
