What it does
The Search Database feature indexes every CAD database and model in your ...\User folder, making them more readily found and selected to open. This creates a searchable index of all your jobs for quick access.
🧾 How the indexing works
When you use Search Database, the system scans through your User folder and creates an index of all CAD databases and models stored there. This makes it much faster to locate specific jobs when you need to open them, especially when you have many projects saved.
💡 When to use this feature
Use Search Database when:
You have many jobs saved and need to quickly find a specific one
You want to browse through your saved projects more efficiently
You need to locate jobs that may be stored in subfolders within your ...\User directory, to find specific project files (*.DAB) or a job within a DAB file.
