✅ What’s happening
This is an easy fix.
In most cases, Roof Wizard is actually updated, but the title label is still showing the old version.
🛠️ Fix the version label (SoftwareTitle.dat)
Go to the
..\Userfolder.Find the file called SoftwareTitle.dat.
Open it with Notepad.
Remove the version number.
🔎 Confirm the real installed version
SoftwareTitle.dat file doesn’t do anything in a practical sense, it is just a label.
The real test to confirm the version of Roof Wizard you are running is to go to:
Help > About Software
ℹ️ Why this happens
The SoftwareTitle.dat isn't changed during the update install as we don't change the current user settings, and this file is in that category.
Some people have written specific notes in the title area to do with what setup they're using etc.
