๐Ÿงพ What are Interval Labels?

Interval Labels are a feature that simplifies the output of variable labour rates when using GRIM files to connect AppliCad Roof Wizard to downstream systems.
โ€‹

Instead of outputting specific pitch values (like Ridge (1, 22.5) where 1 is the storey and 22.5 is the pitch), you can assign labels (A, B, C, etc.) to each pitch interval. The output becomes Ridge (1,A) or Ridge (1,B) instead.

๐Ÿ›  How it works

Previously, customers had to create multiple mappings for each pitch gradient in 0.1 degree increments. With Interval Labels, you can assign simple letter labels to pitch ranges, dramatically reducing the number of mappings required.

๐Ÿ’ก Benefits

  • Greatly reduces the number of GRIM output mappings required

  • Reduces workload for system administrators

  • Speeds up the interface between AppliCad and downstream systems

  • Eliminates the need for duplicate labour rate mappings

This feature is specifically designed for customers using the GRIM output feature.
