Why aren’t my metal sheets/panels printing in my report

If your sheet/panel Category label is blank (even though it shows in Supply+Install), set an Alternate category (usually Straight) so it translates correctly into the quotation/report.

🧩 What’s happening?

We have seen an issue where the pricing details for the roof sheets didn't get translated into the quotation. They did appear on the Supply+Install dialog, but the Category label was blank - similar to this:

✅ Quick fix: set an Alternate category

Redefine the sheet/panel definition with an Alternate category set to be what the software would normally expect to see, that is 'Straight' - the category label for straight roofing (as distinct from curved metal roofing).

  • Add the required text as shown

  • Select [Update], then [OK]

This adds a line to the text file ALTCATEGORIES.CSV and it will look like this when opened in Excel.

🔁 Re-run the job

Re-select the panel, regenerate the panel layout, and when the job is run again, you get the correct category label in the dialog and the material prints as required.
