🛑 What this error usually means
If you get this message, then it is most likely caused by the fact that you do not have sufficient permission to access the required files to run the program.
When you run our software on Windows 10, the 'out of the box' security settings of Windows prevents some applications from running in a sufficiently free access mode.
Our software requires all users to have complete control of the folders that it uses.
🔐 Fix: Check and update permissions on the Roof Wizard shortcut
To check this, right click the Desktop short cut for the AppliCad Roof Wizard software, select Properties (near the bottom) and the select the security tab.
Then select the user to whom you will give permission to use the files and folders, select [Edit] and give [Full Control] to that user.
Confirm by selecting [Apply], and then select [OK].
✅ Try again
Try the software again and you will now be ready to go.
